Dear fellow homeowners in Radburn,
In reading the ADR committee attempt of the Trustees and the
Attorney that is used by Radburn, it struck me as strange
that there is money involved in the procedure of the committee.
I am a property manager currently managing a brand new community.
I am setting up many committees for the homeowners. We are
in the process of forming an ADR committee. The committee
is established for homeowners to be heard by a group of their
peers. THERE IS NO MONEY REQUIRED to do this. There are no
deposits required and no money is held in escrow. I have sent
out applications for those who are interested in serving on
the committee. There will be a two-year term for this position,
then we will go out to the community again after that term
is fulfilled.
All the committees have a one to two year term, then the poitions
are opened up again to the community at large. The same holds
true for Board Member applicants. The terms are one to two
years for each elected official. The only requirement is a
desire to serve the community and be a member in good standing.
It was good to see an attempt to reach out to the homeowners,
but I believe the attorney is not experienced in homeowner
association style living as far as committees are concerned.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Janet L. Sedaka
Radburn Homeowner
